Abstract
This article describes the results to date of a series of one-way tests of the DSN sequential decoding capability, which have been performed at DSS 71. The tests utilize the Data Decoder Assembly as configured for the Helios formats and data rates, and are aimed principally at establishing the telemetry threshold for the Helios requirement of 10-' deletions probability.
