Abstract
A new dual-frequency (S-band and X-band) zeto delay device (ZDD) was required for the MVM’73 S/X experiment at DSS 14. To properly utilize the “zero calibration provided by the ZDD, an evaluation of the “Z” term in the ranging equations must be made. An equation for this term is derived, and values are determined for several configurations.
