Abstract

Data from both Helios-1 and Helios-2 spacecraft in solar orbits continue to expand man’s knowledge of our solar system. Having completed their third and first aphelions, respectively, the trajectories of both spacecraft will bring about perihelions in October 1976. Helios 2, while still in its five-month (MaySeptember) superior conjunction, continues to supply valuable data for experiments 11 and 12 (Celestial Mechanics and Faraday Rotation). Helios 1 remains in cruise phase.
