Abstract
Effects of error sources on ORION baseline vector determination are studied. Partial derivatives of delay observations with respect to each error source are formulated. Covariance analysis is then performed to estimate the contribution of each error source ta baseline vector error. System design parameters such as antenna sizes, system temperatures and provision for dual-frequency (S- and X-band) operation are discussed.
