Abstract
This article presents some results in terms of the performance improvement of a multi-feed array configuration over the usual single feed system when an adaptive least-squares algorithm 1s applied for the signal reconstruction. The article presents two novel versions of the least-squares algorithm, one of which is based on the maximization of the signal-to-noise ratio while the other is based on the deconvolution of the received signal field. These algorithms have been developed for the purpose of minimizing degradations arising from various sources, which can severely limit the performance (gain) of a single-feed system.
